Our team collaborated with researcher Tran Huynh, PhD, MPH, CIH, to create English and Vietnamese outreach materials designed to be culturally appropriate for Vietnamese nail salon workers. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to work on this important subject with Dr. Huynh, who is assistant professor of environmental and occupational health at the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health in Philadelphia, PA.
The resources, animations and posters were developed to help nail salon owners and their employees understand safety risks, rules and regulations, along with state and federal employment guidelines.
