Wine analysis is an essential part of the winemaking process. A new video shares how researchers at NMSU's Center of Excellence in Sustainable Food and Agricultural Systems (CESFAS) are bringing their expertise  to New Mexico wineries and vineyards. Using a technologically advanced wine analyzer, experts can measure up to 30 different parameters of the winemaking process. Conducted during various stages, modern wine analysis provides accurate, scientific data that helps winemakers comply with regulatory standards, adjust grape harvest timing, and ensure consistent quality. The goal is to support New Mexico wineries and vineyards and encourage sustainability by helping winemakers optimize their processes, resulting in superior wines for consumers.
